Julien, mountain leader and founder of WhyTrek
From the Swiss Alps to the volcanoes of Chile, by way of the Burmese jungle, the founder of WhyTrek has hiked on four continents and covered tens of thousands of kilometres. Those years of exploration taught him the mountains in all their richness, their landscapes, their wildlife and their plant life, along with a depth of field experience few guides can claim.
A qualified Mountain Leader (Accompagnateur en Moyenne Montagne) trained by experts
On becoming a young parent, he wanted to pass on to his child a love of nature and an understanding of our environment. It was that conviction that led him to train for several years alongside experts in the field, before earning, in 2022, his qualification as a Mountain Leader.
